AIR OPTIX AQUA breathable contact lenses deliver an advanced combination of oxygen and moisture for a healthy, natural feeling. The lens also offers excellent all-day comfort right from the start. Clinical research shows the lens sustains its performance through a month of wear. AIR OPTIX AQUA is approved for daily wear or up to 6 nights of extended wear.
For daily wear or extended wear up to 6 nights for near/ far-sightedness. Risk of serious eye problems (i.e., corneal ulcer) is greater for extended wear. In rare cases, loss of vision may result. Side effects like discomfort, mild burning or stinging may occur.

Tried 6 different brands, these are the best so far Getting back into trying contacts again after a few years off. Dr gave me these first, but I wasn't satisfied and wanted to try several others. For me at least, I came back to these after a total of 6 different combinations. I have one toric, and one spherical contact, so I can be harder to fit in one brand. The AirOptix Toric is the winner, hands down, among Acuvue, B&L, Cooper. Most comfortable, and best vision. In fact, the vision in the toric is so clear that my other eye seemed less sharp (this is a first!). I tried the AO Toric in the left, and Acuvue Oasis, B&L Purevision, and Cooper in the right. Cooper was very sharp, but not as comfortable. Acuvue was less sharp at all distances. B&L was OK, but hard to put in and not as comfortable. I highly reccomend that you try these, and give them a few days. Initially I was concerned about the toric moving around, but it stopped on the 2nd day and Ive had no more problems.

The best of 3 I had been wearing Acuvue 2 for many years with just end of day dryness but otherwise no issues. After a recent exam and moderate deterioration in vision , my OD suggested Oyasis and while they are comfortable, acuity was terrible for me and I really felt they let less light in than my prior contacts. I also felt reading vision was affected quite a bit. He then had me try coopervision's 2 week disposable and Air Optix Aqua. Coopervision had the best optics of the 3 but are not very comfortable for me at all. I am pleased to say the Air Optix Aqua are a great blend of comfort and optics and I happily made the switch from Acuvue 2 and am thrilled with these. A great benefit is cost with the 1 month duration of wear. If you are considering Oyasis, I would strongly suggest a trial of these as well.

I don't like them I thought it was just me until I read these reviews. I had been wearing the same brand for years and then my optometrist "recommended" the Air Optix. I like that they give me more oxygen then my last ones, but these are weird. It seems like they dry out easily while in my eyes and I have been more sensitive to light when coming from a darker space. Noticeably more than before I started wearing them. I wear my glasses with an old prescription because the contacts get on my nerves after a while.

I prefer the Focus monthly toric visitint instead. I'm not sure if the other reviewers are paid by Ciba Vision to give great reviews but this Air Optix is nowhere near what it's cracked up to be. There are many opticians out there that are getting bad remarks about this lens. I've tried them several times and they just don't feel as comfortable as the Focus monthly lenses that have been discontinued. I use several opticians myself and have the same bad comments from them and their patients. Forget about playing golf with these lenses. The vision is unclear and dries to a tight fit which leads to irritation. I believe Ciba Vision's R&D really messed up big for them and their sales of this product will be a bust.

Very Uncomfortable but great clairty I had been wearing the Fresh Look torics also made by CIBA for many years and loved them. but, my optometrist was concerned about the oxygen levels, so she switched me to these as a trial. I must say, I couldn't continue wearing them after 2-3 days of trying. They actually gave me a headache and my eyes actually ached after they were removed. I'm glad other patients like them, but for me, I'm going back to my Fresh Look Torics!
