At 47, I can't stand the constant need for reading glasses ...and needing to keep a pair in every room! My distance is also starting to change. I had never worn contacts before so I am a late bloomer. The minute they were in I WAS seeing in high definition. They are great! Just needed to get used to the feeling of something in my eye. Vision is crisp and clear, day and night...close and far. Amazing really. This way, you can lower your correction for far vision to compsenate the short of reading. I had tried all the multifocal lens on the market (my presction is -8), the purevsion is the best. For example, if your left (reading) eye is -7, you can use -6.5 or -6 with high add for reading. For right eye you can still use full strength multi focal or just single version lens for far version. With this drop, you will not feel anything except you can read better. It took me 6 months with 3 doctors to figure this out. So try it.........
