At first I was a little skeptical about ordering contact lenses from overseas, was the product going to be the same as I order here in Australia, how long was it going to take to get to me etc. I am happy to say I am 100% satisfied, the product is exactly the same as I order here and the product came in less than 7 days - Perfect product and service - Thank you The only problem I encountered is that I couldn''t claim the cost of the lenses back on my private health care as the product came from overseas, however as the product is less than half the cost of the cheapest product I can order here, I don''t care ($27.95 Discount Contact Lenses - $63.00 cheapest online Australia retailer).

Upon receiving my contacts I notice that once I put them in I could not see at all. When I called Discount Contacts to let them know they never blamed me for the mistake. They were very happy to correct the error (which was as simple as not being able to read the prescription given to me by the doctor)and send me the right prescription in the mean time. I order all my contacs from Discount Contact Lenses for two main reasons: #1- They are less expensive than ANY OTHER company, including my eye doctor, and #2- I recieve my contacts more quickly through Discount Contact Lenses than any other place. The rep said the violet lenses would change the color - not true - there was no difference between my eye color and the lenses. My husband did not even notice. The only thing that happened to me was that the first set of contact lenses that I used, the left eye contact ripped in half the 2nd day I used it... I would assume though that it would have more to do with the manufacturer. It would be nice to be compensated some how. But otherwise I was extremely happy with the price and the delivery time. Also being able to track delivery!!! I am very glad I found you- previously I had used 1-800-contacts and at that time I remember it taking at least 7-10 days for delivery, ans was at least 10-20$ more. Thanks so much!!!

One thing I would suggest is if you get a fax order or you call a doctor if you could update the reorder form. Because I missed it when I order my contacts and the doctor on there was from 2 years ago, I have been ordering because I faxed it in. Just a suggest I know I should have checked the information on the order form. You should show doctors name not just phone number.

The various emails I received throughout the process were great - confirmation of order, confirmation of shipping, etc. I just seemed odd that it took over two weeks to ship (the confiomation of shipping email was sent within 48 hours of my order placement - which was great). every time I walk into eye doctr they want $70 - $80 for an eye exam which I am not interested in, my eye doctor told me they no longer stock contacts in the store at all. I have very poor vision and often work in construction and have to have quick easy access to fresh contacts as required. I have to tell you something kinda funny when I went to my eye doctor for my check up he knew I was out of contacts and asked me if I would like to order some contacts and I asked how much are they a box if I order them from him and can you believe he told me $80? i almost fell on the floor I couldn''t believe the price well, I told him no because I can order them through you all for $47 and he informed me that they were more than likely not brand name and I told him they are the exact same product and boy I must of hit a nerve with him because he instanly got a real bad attitude I think I hurt his feelings. oh well as I say. I went online to find that they had been backordered and we never received notice. I have kerataconus & need custom RPG contact lenses. Previously I bought lenses thru my doctor. His prices went up drastically. I bought this pair thru Discount Contact Lenses as a backup pair. Neither lens in the original order fit properly, but Discount Contact Lenses shipped out a 2nd lens for each eye at no extra charge. Both lenses fit better than the originals.
