What are Colored Contact Lenses?
Colored contact lenses are contacts that change the appearance of your eye with or without vision correction. The iris, the colored part of your eye, can be a completely different color depending on which color contact lens you choose. Whether you want a dramatic look for Halloween or a natural-looking enhancement, there are plenty of options.
Colored Contacts Tints
Enhancement Tint
This translucent tint enhances the natural color of your eye, but won’t change it. Enhancement tinted lenses will work for people with light colored eyes, but won’t be noticeable on dark eyes. Dailies Colors and most shades of Freshlook Colorblends and FreshLook Dimensions are enhancement tinted colored contacts.
Opaque Tint
This will completely change the color of your eye because of the non-transparent tint. For people with dark eyes, opaque tinted contacts will be needed to change the color of their eyes. Air Optix Colors and FreshLook Colors are all opaque tinted colored contacts.
